The use of vices (such as smoking, vaping, wellness activities (exercise, running), substance use, religion, social media, gambling, etc.) as coping mechanisms.. sometimes, we are masking certain underlying things with our vices, which become our habits.  Too much of anything is not good.. The day we are unable to access them, we struggle.. we can not self-regulate without them.. They give us illusion of control .... and often offer an escape from our reality.
